The MAGUS system is a way for humans to use magick.
Humans contract to a high-level being(Contractor) who bestows on them a mark(Contract Seal) which gives them reishi(pure spirit energy), youki(neutral spirit energy) or chouki(dark spirit energy) which the Contract Seal then allows humans to convert into mana(the power source for magick) to channel through their developed magick circuits(circuits which the Contractor-Magus bond allows) for the use of magick. Magick allows Mages and Magus to temporarily bend the laws of nature and the universe to a small degree with the usage of an Incantation(words of power used to invoke a spell) and a mana-formed Glyph(a magical circle to bring the intended spell into reality).
Magus also have access to a special weapon called an Anchor, which is kept in a dormant state until needed by the Magus. This weapon is personally-designed for them and need not be related to their Contractor, and is generated by the Contract to be the weapon which best suits them in a battle.
There are two types of casters.

Mages: those who naturally have the gift of magick and have high potential as a spell-caster.
